If you’re a ESL teacher or English learner come here and check this out!

Hi everyone! How was your week? Mine was quite great. I did my homework, spent my time with my friends and family, started a new anime. But the most important part is I have some great news for you *drum roll*. I’ve found 5 blogs perfect for ESL learners, teachers, and also future teachers like me. I’m going to share these blogs and share my opinions with a little information about them. Okay, let’s start it.

     1-Blog de Cristina

The first blog that  I’m going to share is ‘Blog de Cristina’. When I first saw her page I couldn’t help but check her blog thoroughly. This might be my favorite blog so far so I wanted to put it in the first place. I think this blog is for students, teachers, and future teachers. She has been a teacher for 20+ years and you can see how experienced she is. Her activities and the way she teaches seem really fun and capturing even for students who lose attention easily. She shares everything about teaching English. From vocabulary to speaking, grammar, etc. She gives advice to teachers about how to handle each age group but if you’re there for learning she usually aims for advanced students more. So I really recommend you this blog if you’re eager to learn some learning tips and new and fun teaching styles to spice up your skills.

    2- ELT Experiences

The creator of this blog is an EFL teacher with 14 years of teaching experience. He also has an abroad teaching experience in South Korea, Romania, and the UK. His target audience is mostly teachers. He gives some tips for classroom teaching as well as online teaching tips. He also has a youtube channel with the same name as his blog. He has great energy and fun activities. I recommend it.

    3- Teacher Talk

This blog is also for teachers as well as the other ones. She seems very kind and the first thing I noticed she supports LGBT and she posts about that stuff to encourage her students. That means she is very open-minded. This made a good impression on me. She suggests books, activities and shares stories with her students. I think this blog is very beneficial for future teachers.

    4- The ESL Nexus

The creator of this blog is a middle school teacher who has worked and helped English language teachers to improve their teaching skills in other countries like China and Indonesia. She also says she worked with kindergarten and elementary students but her favorite age group is middle schoolers. She knows how to help English language learners to achieve success and loves helping other teachers who struggle with their learners. This blog is mainly for teachers. I highly recommend this blog if you have a hard time with what to do as a teacher.

    5- Teaching ESL Online

Unlike the other blogs that I recommended this blog’s creator is not originally a teacher. I’m not going to tell all of his stories. If you are curious you can check it with the link I put down below but shortly he was in a marketing sector where he worked 5 to 9 jobs. Then he quit this job for his dream of travel and work and also teach English online. His main purpose is to give advice about how to use technology while teaching English. He has been teaching online since 2011 and he also has a youtube channel beside his other social media platforms. In this century of technology, when almost everything is online why education can’t be online. Using technology is one of the most important skills that teachers should improve. In this case, I highly recommend this blog.

I know being a teacher is not easy. Especially teaching a new language is extra challenging. But looking through all these blogs gave me a lot of motivation and support that I’ve been looking for. Reading and learning from different experienced teachers is a great opportunity. I wish the pieces of information and blogs that I recommended were useful for you and that you can apply them to your teaching skills.

Thank you for reading this far. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a nice day! (Or night) <3
