''KWL'' chart

Hi everyone! This week I've created a ''KWL'' chart. And you might ask, what is a KWL chart? Because my first reaction wasn't different either. basically, the letters mean what we 'K'now? 'W'hat to know? and what we 'L'earned?

For this task firstly my 3 friends and I created a padlet. Then we chose a topic and narrowed it down. We took advantage of websites for this task. I've searched man websites to answer my questions. Out topic was ''Gender Inequality In Turkey''. (Fun fact, I thought everyone was going to choose different countries so I chose Japan and searched a lot about it but it turned out we should do the same topic. I changed my padlet immediately but I was a bit sad because I'd found some really interesting information about Japan but never mind.)

In conclusion, if you ask me about my experience, it was a bit time-consuming but being able to have control of the topic makes it easier because when you are familiar with or interested in the topic it is fun to do. also, it was interesting to scroll through the websites to find an answer to my questions. Would I recommend this activity for my students in the future? I'm not sure about it. But if I do more KWL charts I might get used to it and maybe like it.
